How the Scheme Works

The Refer a Friend scheme is a “Give 10, Get 3” program. When you invite a new organisation to Clubtreasurer:

• They Get: 10% discount off their first year’s annual subscription.
• You Get: 3-month subscription bonus added to your account for every successful referral.

Getting Started: Create Your Referrals

You can create and manage your referrals directly from your Clubtreasurer account.

1. Log in to your Clubtreasurer account.
2. Click the Refer a Friend link in the top navigation menu.
3. Accept the Terms: On your first visit, you’ll be asked to review and accept the scheme’s terms to activate your unique referral code link.
4. Share Your Link: Once activated, you can share your referral code link via email, WhatsApp, or social media.

Managing Your Referrals

The Setup > My Referrals dashboard provides a real-time view of your referrals and bonus awards:

• Pending Referrals: Organisations that have signed up for a trial using your link but haven’t yet purchased a subscription.
• Successful Referrals: Organisations that have moved to a paid annual plan.
• Bonus Status: See exactly how many “Bonus Months” have been applied to your account.

Important Rules to Remember

To ensure your rewards are tracked correctly, please keep the following in mind:

• New Organisations Only: The scheme applies to new customers signing up for a 30-day trial. It does not apply to existing or returning accounts.
• Use Referral Code Link: The referred organisation must use your link to sign up for their trial. They can upgrade to an annual subscription at any time during or after their trial period for your reward to trigger.
• No Reward Limits: There is no cap on how many organisations you can refer. The more you help, the more you save!

Your link is always available in the Refer a Friend top menu – and you can send automated invite emails directly from that page. You can also see this in Setup > My Referrals > Referral Organisations tab.
