The Clubtreasurer Clinic is a private, one-to-one online session with a Clubtreasurer expert. Bring a problem, a plan, or a blank sheet of paper — we spend an hour on your organisation, your configuration and your questions.
It isn’t a generic tutorial and it isn’t a support ticket. It’s a working session, with your account on screen, run by the people who designed the software and who have spent years helping volunteer treasurers get their books straight.
What clubs use the Clinic for
- Getting the setup right first time. Cost codes, funds, events, opening balances, VAT treatment and membership structure — reviewed and configured with you, so you don’t spend your first year unpicking decisions made in week one.
- Training the committee. Bring your treasurer, secretary, membership officer and chair to the same session at no extra cost. Everyone hears the same answer once.
- Handing over to a new treasurer. An hour with the outgoing and incoming treasurer together is the cheapest insurance your club will ever buy.
- Solving something specific. A reconciliation that won’t balance, a billing run that isn’t behaving, a report you can’t get to look the way the auditor wants.
- A health check on what you already have. We look at how you’re actually using Clubtreasurer and show you the features you’re paying for but not using.
- Planning a change. Year-end, a new subscription structure, moving off spreadsheets, or migrating from another system.
How it works
- Book a slot. Pick a time that suits you using the booking link below.
- Tell us what you want to cover. A sentence or two is plenty. The more we know, the less of your hour we spend getting up to speed.
- We prepare. Where it’s useful, we’ll look at your configuration beforehand so we arrive with answers rather than questions.
- We meet. One hour on Microsoft Teams, screens shared, working in your own account — not a demo system.

Need longer? You can book two consecutive sessions for a single two-hour appointment.
Book your session
Step 1 — Purchase a Clinic session or Clinic Card: sign in to Clubtreasurer and go to Setup > Orders and Subscription. If you already have a complimentary session, go straight to step 2.
Step 2 — Choose your slot. Sessions run between 10:00 and 17:00 UK time on most weekdays. If you need an evening or weekend — which many volunteer committees do — just ask and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.
Questions we get asked
Isn’t support included in my subscription?
Yes — and it always will be. Help pages, video tutorials, the user forums, the Getting Started webinars and our support ticket system are all free to every subscriber. The Clinic is for the times when you’d rather have a dedicated hour of our undivided attention than a thread of messages.
Do I need to prepare anything?
No. Just tell us roughly what you’d like to cover when you book. If you have a specific report or process in mind, have it to hand.
Can more than one person join?
Absolutely, and we’d encourage it. There’s no extra charge for additional attendees.
What if we don’t get through everything?
Book two consecutive slots up front if you think you’ll need them, or simply book another session later. Clinic Card holders often spread their five hours across a whole financial year.
Can we record the session?
Yes — just ask at the start, and you’ll have a recording to share with the rest of your committee.
Is this only for treasurers?
No. Membership secretaries, chairs, auditors and bookkeepers all book Clinic sessions.
