About Budgets

Budgets are used to control and report your organisation’s actual income and expenditure against planned budgeted amounts.

Use the Budget feature to:

  • Set one or multiple budgets over different timeframes (typically annual).
  • Set budgets by Parent Codes,  Cost Codes, or Events
  • Create budgets for whole period or monthly
  • Create multiple versions of your budgets to model different scenarios
  • Create new budgets by copying existing budgets or actual amounts
  • Compare your budgets against different budgets, budget versions, and  actual values

How to Create a New Budget

Click the “Hamburger” icon   and select “Enter full screen” to expand. Space bar or Enter to move slides.
