New treasurer for a grassroots club where there’s been no finances recorded for years
Hi All,
I’ve picked up the treasurer position for a youth grassroots club and need to sort out the finances as there is no budgeting or planning in place.
this software looks perfect for me, but I’m totally lost on how to use so far 😀
We have our membership payments on the club website, they then appear in our bank account s as grouped cash payments from Stripe.
So trying to figure out how I record payments on an individual level from members from the data on the Pitchero site and not double count them against the bank transactions.

Hi Tommy - welcome to the Clubtreasurer Community.
As a new user we know that CT can seem a little daunting at first; however, you'll find the learning curve is very gentle once you understand a few of the basics.
First off, we are currently offering all new trial customers a free 1hr one-to-one Assist session to help you get started - if you'd like to book a session please visit this page: https://clubtreasurer.com/blog/community/general/clubtreasurer-assist/#post-307
We've also put this FAQ page together for new users which contains useful links to the core feature help pages: https://clubtreasurer.com/blog/community/postid/106/
For managing for Stripe payments, we recommend treating these like a separate cash-book. ie. you create a separate "Stripe" Account in CT to enter or import* your detailed Receipt/Payment transactions, and then record the (bulk) payments into your Bank Account as an Account Transfer - please see this post which discusses this scenario: https://clubtreasurer.com/blog/community/postid/107/
*Importing Stripe Transactions
The Import Transactions feature can import your Stripe transactions directly into CT via a CSV export file - see this help page for more details: https://clubtreasurer.com/blog/transaction-import/ (scroll to Importing Data from Online Payment Systems)
Hope this helps!
