How do I delete an old Bank Account?

Deleting a Bank or Cash Account in Clubtreasurer

You can only delete an account if it has zero transactions recorded against it.

• Navigation: Accounts > Account Balances

• Open the Account (click the spyglass icon) and click the Edit button

  • If there are no transactions recorded against the Account a Delete button will be available. Clicking this will permanently remove the account and its opening balance.

     

• If you have transactions: The Delete button will be hidden. Instead, you must set the account status to Closed.

  • To Close: Your account can only be closed if it has a zero balance.

  • Edit the account and change the status from Active to Closed. This prevents the account from appearing in transaction dropdowns but keeps your historical data intact.
