Each one shows their most recent assignment (with its end date), or <strong>Never assigned<\/strong> if they&#8217;ve never had that membership.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Show members with AND without billing lines in period<\/strong> \u2014 everyone in one list, so you can see your whole membership at a glance. Members who haven&#8217;t been billed are marked <strong>Not billed<\/strong> or <strong>Never assigned<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u2611\ufe0f <strong>Pick More Than One<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You can now select <strong>several Sections, Members and Memberships<\/strong> at once. Choosing a membership category also includes any memberships set up beneath it. Leave a filter empty to include everything.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Because you can now make several selections, the report no longer refreshes after each one. Make your choices, then click <strong>Refresh Report<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83d\udcca <strong>New Excel and CSV Downloads<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Choosing <strong>Excel<\/strong> or <strong>CSV<\/strong> now gives you a proper spreadsheet: one row per member, real dates you can sort and filter, and the same rows as the screen and the PDF.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83d\udd27 <strong>Also Fixed<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>No Section<\/strong> now finds members who aren&#8217;t in a section. Each row in your file becomes two draft transactions: the income at its full value, and the fee as a separate payment. They&#8217;re linked together as a single batch, so they stay together in your accounts and reconcile against the one payout on your bank statement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Pro Tip:<\/strong> Map the <strong>Gross<\/strong> column, not the Net. Most provider exports include both \u2014 Net is the figure after the fee has already been taken off. Mapping Net would count the fee twice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Pro Tip:<\/strong> You no longer need to map a Transaction ID field to link the Gross and Fee lines. The import now links them automatically.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83d\udcb7 <strong>Getting the Fee Cost Code Right<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Fee lines are created as <strong>Payments<\/strong> and pick up your default payment cost code automatically. If you use Cost Code Matching, that runs as normal and will assign a more specific code where it finds one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Either way, you can change the cost code on any fee row in the Draft Transactions grid before you finalise \u2014 most organisations will want these going to a &#8220;Bank &amp; Card Charges&#8221; code or similar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u2705 <strong>Positive or Negative \u2014 Both Work<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Payment providers disagree about how to write a fee. PayPal exports them as negative numbers, most others as positive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You don&#8217;t need to care. If a member opts out they&#8217;re marked in your member list and excluded from future sends, and if you happen to tick them anyway the system leaves them out and tells you how many were skipped. Members with no email address on file are handled the same way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Importantly, unsubscribing only stops <em>member messages<\/em>. Invoices and statements still reach them, because those are part of their membership rather than general club news. For instance, if you attempt to run your November renewals for memberships with their earliest Fee date starting in December, the renewal process would error and not complete as it could not find a valid Membership fee rate to generate the billing line(s).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Fix:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Error Handling: We have implemented a &#8220;trap&#8221; for this date mismatch. Instead of the process failing, the system will now successfully generate billing renewal lines but will default to a zero rate if no valid fee schedule is found for the affected lines. The Billing Lines comments will also reflect this.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">User Action Required: To ensure your renewals reflect the correct pricing, please verify that your Membership Fee Schedules have a &#8220;Date From&#8221; on or before your renewal run date. (This is not case sensitive and will accept &#8220;active&#8221;, &#8220;ACTIVE&#8221;, or &#8220;Active&#8221;)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Defaulting: Any empty status or unrecognised values will automatically default to &#8216;Active&#8217; if the status is not already set, e.g. when you import new members. New member records will automatically be set to &#8216;Active&#8217;, unless you specifically import them with an &#8216;Inactive&#8217; status.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Automated Date Cleanup: If a member&#8217;s status is set to &#8216;Active&#8217;, the system will automatically clear any value in the Inactive Date column.
