(1:05)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-css-opacity is-style-wide\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Advanced Opening Balances &#8211; Fund &amp; Event Allocations<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The simple method above allocates all Opening Account balances to your <strong>General Fund<\/strong> and <strong>General Event<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you need to allocate your opening balance to alternative or additional Funds\/Events, then you would use the the <strong>Funds &amp; Events Transfer <\/strong>(<em>Nav: Transfers &gt; Fund &amp; Event Transfers<\/em>)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For example, we need the Current Account opening balance (\u00a35000) to be apportioned across Funds as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>General Fund:       \u00a32000<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Equipment Fund:  \u00a32000<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Charity Fund:        \u00a31000<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Because the opening balance is already apportioned to the<strong> General Fund<\/strong>, we only need to create our Fund Transfer for the <strong>Equipment Fund <\/strong>and <strong>Charity Fund<\/strong>. (We are not using Events in this example)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><em>Depending on your setup, you may not see the <strong>Account <\/strong>field in the Fund &amp; Event Transfer dialogue.
