Clubtreasurer Browser & Device Compatibility Guide

Clubtreasurer runs on a modern web application platform (Oracle APEX 26.1) that features up-to-date data tools and enhanced security definitions. Use this breakdown to verify that your operating system and web browser are compatible.

Core Architecture: APEX 26.1 Updated: June 2026 Windows · macOS · iPad · Android
✓ Fully supported

Google Chrome

Current (v149) and previous major release. Chrome updates automatically and offers an excellent baseline for Windows, Mac, and Android users.

✓ Fully supported

Microsoft Edge

Current (v149) and previous major release. Built-in directly on Windows 10/11 systems — highly performant for core data tasks.

✓ Fully supported

Mozilla Firefox

Current (v151) and previous major release. Firefox brings an independent rendering engine, making it our top troubleshooting recommendation for older computers.

✓ Fully supported

Apple Safari

Current (v18 / v26) and previous major release. The native default browser on Mac, iPhone, and iPad — updates concurrently with your underlying Apple OS.

Important: Clubtreasurer strictly supports the current and immediately prior major release of each browser family. Legacy versions lack modern WebKit and V8 engine patches, causing infinite loading spinners, login session failures, or scrambled menu structures. JavaScript and cookies must remain enabled.

Operating system Status Notes
Windows 11 ● Fully OK Native Edge, Chrome, and Firefox run at full current versions. Ensure system time is synchronized to avoid reCAPTCHA errors.
Windows 10 (with Enterprise ESU) ● OK for now Browsers continue updating perfectly on this operating system framework. Fully secure for managing ledger entries.
Windows 10 (Standard, EOL Oct 2025) ● Caution Web browsers will still run and execute layouts properly, but the operating system itself is no longer patched by Microsoft. Consider hardware transitions soon.
Windows 7, 8 / 8.1 ● Not supported Chrome and Edge froze support at v109 in 2023. This old core engine is incompatible with modern system elements. Temporary Workaround: Install **Firefox ESR 115** (supported until late August 2026) to maintain access.

✓ Fully supported

iPadOS 26 (Current)

Native Safari support matches our current application codebase seamlessly. Available for modern modern M-series and A-series iPad models.

✓ Supported

iPadOS 18 (Prior Major)

Safari 18 is fully covered under standard web policy architecture. Renders financial tools and accounting structures correctly.

✗ Not supported

iPadOS 17

Safari 17 sits just outside the core window. Elements like dynamic overlay models or reporting interfaces may display rendering glitches.

✗ Not supported

iPadOS 16 and below

The layout rendering and background security structures required by our framework cannot compile on these operating systems. A device upgrade is necessary.

iPad model Max iPadOS Clubtreasurer status
iPad Pro (M1, M2, M4, A12X+)
iPad Air (M-series, 3rd gen+)
iPad mini (5th gen and newer)
iPad (10th gen and newer)
iPadOS 26 / 18 ✓ ● Fully supported — Complete interface accessibility.
iPad (7th gen) — 2019 Base Model iPadOS 18 max ● Supported — Runs Safari 18 smoothly. Ensure basic cache cleaning routines.
iPad (6th gen) — 2018 Base Model iPadOS 16 max ● Not supported — Security parameters block login. Device replacement required.
iPad (5th gen and older)
iPad Air (1st & 2nd gen)
iPad mini (1st–4th gen)
iPadOS 15 or earlier ● Not supported — Hardware lacks capability to process modern secure session data.
How to check and update your iPad: Navigate to Settings → General → About to identify your model type, then access Settings → General → Software Update to pull down the final available iPadOS build for your hardware.

Platform Status Notes
macOS Sequoia / Sonoma ● Fully OK Native Safari, Chrome, and Firefox function with zero layout degradation. Excellent user performance metrics.
macOS Ventura / Monterey ● Mostly OK Frozen native Safari engines may drop menu overlays or fail to open navigation tabs. **We strongly recommend installing Mozilla Firefox on these systems.**
macOS Big Sur and older ● Browser Swap Safari completely fails to navigate layout nodes. **You must install the current branch of Chrome or Firefox** to access Clubtreasurer safely.
Android (Chrome Engine) ● Fully OK Processes inputs cleanly. Responsive structure scales accurately across mobile viewports.

✗ Not supported

Internet Explorer

All iterations. Deprecated directly by our database engine core. Complete incompatibility.

✗ Not supported

Legacy Microsoft Edge

Pre-2020 versioning layouts (EdgeHTML). Will fail system handshakes automatically.

✗ Not supported

Frozen Outdated Builds

Chrome variations below v148 or Firefox profiles below v150 cannot parse our programmatic functions.

Step 1: Hard Refresh Cache

Clear Web Browser Data

Force your browser to fetch fresh assets. Use Ctrl + F5 (Windows) or Cmd + Shift + R (Mac) on your login page to clear old cache segments.

Step 2: Extension Check

Test via Private / Incognito Mode

Open an Incognito tab to access the app. If it works, an installed browser extension (such as an aggressive ad-blocker or proxy tool) is stripping vital security tokens.

Legacy Mac Shortcut

Switch Native Safari to Firefox*

If navigation options or dropdown tabs are invisible on an older Mac running Monterey or Big Sur, downloading the current build of Mozilla Firefox resolves the bug instantly. (Also see info box below*)

“Too Many Redirects” Fix

Clear Site Cookies

If you encounter an infinite routing error, click the padlock icon in your Edge/Chrome address bar and clear cookies specifically for the clubtreasurer.com domain.

*Firefox Enhanced Tracking Protection in older Macs
If the Sign-In button does nothing when you click it in Firefox, this is often caused by Firefox’s “Enhanced Tracking Protection” silently blocking the Google reCAPTCHA V3 login protection. Please try the following fix:
  1. Look at the left side of the Firefox URL address bar (just to the left of the website name) for a Shield icon.
  2. Click the shield icon to open the drop-down protection panel.
  3. Toggle the switch to OFF for the Clubtreasurer domain.
  4. The page will auto-reload. Try typing your password and clicking sign-in again.
